David Krieger

David Krieger is a former senior Managing Director of Warburg Pincus, a global Private Equity firm.  David led investments across the energy sector totaling over $3 billion – most of which have grown from startup into operationally successful businesses at scale.  A former member of the firm’s Executive Management Group, he also sat on the boards of most of these public and private portfolio companies.  Prior to Warburg Pincus, David was an Analyst with McKinsey & Company.  He earned a BSEcon summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania (1994), an MS in Industrial Engineering with high honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology (1995), and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School (2000).
